About Me
I first started taking photographs in my mid teens when as a cyclist I found it easier to be at the finish first if I was taking pictures. A bonus was that all other cyclists bought copies of the pictures from me. After this I studied studio techniques at night school and with a friend rented studio space to photograph models we had found.
On starting at University I worked as the photographer for the weekly Student Newspaper. Great way of meeting the girls and getting into all the events free.
After university I moved to and worked in London but after several changes of career decided to open my own studio firstly in Fulham and later moved to Clapham Common. I was freelancing regularly for several Record Companies photographing their artists, also worked for some fashion designers photographing their collections. The rest of my time was spent producing portfolios for models. I was never a "weddings" photographer and would only do them for friends after some strong protest.
After four years I also started to work in the Casino Industry because the hours suited my photographic business. Several years later I had advanced to the level of management and at this point I decided that photography should become just a hobby again.
It was not until many years later when I was living and working in Moscow and using only a temporary studio set up in my home I decided that I want a larger permanent studio so I opened a studio there. In 2004, I returned to the UK and again for a few years had only a studio at home. In 2008 I opened a larger complex, which I also rent to other photographers to help with the costs rather than as a business and an income.
I enjoy photographing people, places, wildlife and more recently some areas of fetish work.
Other interests I have include travelling and whilst I have been to many places in the world there are still many I want to go to, playing poker but nowadays I do not play as much as I use to.
